QUOTE(-Matrix- @ Jun 16 2013, 11:53 AM) hello all, it seems having ice-cream at "haagen dazs" klcc is not considered dining hence not entitled to 5% cashback rebate ... anyone encountered similar transaction to confirm this? i'm seeking clarification from ocbc and hope to hear what they've got to say on this ... if it's not dining, then what should be the category then? cheers ... First page stated MCC 5499 See link below http://mcc-codes.findthedata.org/l/595/5499

If you followed my post previously, I already reported Haagen-Dazs MCC is under Food Kiosk/store which OCBC does not consider Dining rebate. I rather use Maybankard 2 AMEX at Haagen-Dazs

Majority of the holders here got rejected on the first attempt, so just don't lose hope yet. Try appealing again after some months.

I got my OCBC Ti even though I had 2 cards that time. After I got my OCBC Ti, I only cut down my CIMB card that didn't benefit me.

Both - 5xTP and 5% rebate (if weekends). 5xTP is better than 1% rebate. I think I saw the calculation before.

Maybank doesn't bother any MCC code, so long the transactions happen in weekends, you will get 5% rebate. OCBC is good to used during weekdays with guaranteed 5% rebate.
