the blower is heat gun?

hi bro,
yes, the blower is the what we usually call " hot air gun", to blow SMD(surface mount devices). you can use to blow(solder or desolder) the SMD components/chips on any pcb. the rework station set is very handy, convenient and yet save our work space!

price is quite low, if you add extra RM30 for the purchase, we can give out our rosin flux paste, tweezers x3, screw box, and one soldering iron tip head(k shape, C shape, or oval shape) to you.

the manufacturer provides 1 yr warranty.

so far we sold few units already, feedback is quite good
we also use the same model for half year (heavily used every day) already and it is functioning well without problem.

Sharing experience here, most soldering rework station got short lifespan because of the improper usage by the user. Techinicians who
-usually lazy to turn it off when it is not used for a long time,
-forgot to jam some solder in tip and shorten the soldering tip lifespan
-leave the blower turned on for long period(this unit has auto off/on feature, can avoid this),
-not grounding the unit properly, etc

all the above reasons are common to shorten any soldering station no matter what quality and brands. We know many novice here will say what Hakko like brands, but our experience told us, using good brands one won't have any difference in practice.

the blower stand is quite handy for us, we reflow the bga chips more convenient than before. the blower stand is a feature for this unit, other design may not have this special feature, you may search around to verify this.

anyway, we enjoy to share our experience and good price items in lowyat forum.

the soldering iron has its own temperature control knob with digital value display for monitoring purpose. it is quite handy design, especially the blower part has its own stand which can allow you to handle the job "free of Hand". it also has auto-off features .
