QUOTE(Heero Yuy @ Apr 9 2013, 07:42 PM) QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Apr 9 2013, 07:46 PM) Yea ... You will not notice if you are in a strong 3G coverage area. If for me, my 3G bar is always around 3 bars. So i know im on 3G network because even when i turn off cellular data, it shows 3 bars instead of full bars. Previously before updating to 14.1, it will auto turn back to 2g yep...but than those already upgrade to LTE, need to off the LTE if no LTE coverage or else u will have problem with the speed.. my iphone 5 with LTE enable speed less than 1mbps with LTE off, easily hit 10mbps |

QUOTE(decavalera @ Apr 9 2013, 08:09 PM) Lte on android device i guess very limited ...Like samsung ... Note 2 lte very few in market currently .. Mostly n2 is n7100 which no lte chip inside... They roll out on iphone5 is very advantage to them... Just use back current stock and with lte, they can attract more customer..while android device, they might need change to new model like note 2 n7100 to n7105 |

QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ Apr 9 2013, 09:50 PM) Hrm... Let me try. Yeah.. Last time alot complain ip5 cannot lte in malaysia... What a suprise move by maxis, they manage to roll it out without even any new leak out from inside regarding on this news 1. Ip5 for msia set is using LTE band 1, 3 and 5. Band 3 is 1800 MHz. In Msia, current LTE frequency available was 2600 MHz. Band 1 and 5 isn't 2600 MHz 2. Recently Maxis got the green light from MCMC on the LTE spectrum on 1800 MHz, which is band 3. 3. So Maxis can now launch LTE for iP5. 4. To enable LTE, there is an carrier update needed. After update, you will get carrier Maxis 14.1 version. This update will change your previous setting, which is "Enable 3G" to "Enable LTE" for iP5, and ipad lte i suppose. 5. LTE is basically a data network. It will mainly stay in LTE, until someone calls you, it will quickly switch back to 3G to use back on the voice network. Cheers. |
