when i went to sunway there were LTE and its full bar... so i got to test some of the apps such as youtube, google maps, and internet browser... definitely faster than 3g and snappier.... and the best part is unlike 3g, my batt seems to be longer than just surfing with 3g only....instagram for example still takes a few seconds to load, almost similar to what you get when you're on 3G.

oh the call also improve drastically.... i can hear the sound from the caller just like skype on wifi which is crystal clear..
maybe just my feelings... maybe there's an explanation behind it... but sorry cant help much
