I'm on iValue Simple plan and never get the LTE signal before even when i'm in an area with LTE coverage. Called Maxis and was told no LTE support for this plan because our data plan is just 1GB (Free). Anyone can confirm this?
*
Maxis confirms iValue Simple (or called as Lite) is not eligible...

I thought iValue Simple is for iP4? Lite = Simple?
*
iValue Simple is for iPhone 5; with 1GB data with RM50 subscription. It says iValue Lite is not eligible.

EDIT: iValue Lite comes with iPhone 4 (500MB data, RM70/month). Sorry for confusion.

And another thing to check - do you have nano-sim? Or manually cut mini-sim? Just to be sure, I have no idea if it relates to this problem. Just suggesting.

Remember some maxis users solved their connectivity issue with 3G after changing a new sim card?

Maybe the maxis guy was right to some extent.

Yeah sorry. It's the iValue Lite that is not eligible. Got confused between Simple and Lite.

So all iPhone 5 Maxis plan will have LTE. My mistake.

Did Maxis just widened its LTE coverage? I am on LTE almost constantly in Seri Kembangan after returning from IOI Mall (with LTE). Nice.

hello i need help as i cannot update lte carrier settings...
my current carrier setting is maxis 14.5.is it the cause for this problem?
*
14.5? Did you do some tweaks to change your carrier logo? Official maxis was only 14.1

If you really want to revert it, you gotta restore your phone firmware, which will put your carrier setting back to 14.0
and upon first boot iTunes will detect new carrier setting update to 14.1

That's what happened to me when I screwed up my carrier setting to 14.2 and cannot revert...
