i normally go to IGN, Gamespot, Gametrailers, Machinima and Rev3Games for all my game reviews before purchasing a games..

but i find my favourite to be Gametrailers.. Rev3Games too slowly mainly because Adam Sessler is on this show now (screw G4TV for firing him without reason)

Angry joe is awesome, i watch the show not because of the game, but because it's funny. I can't wait to see he review alien colonial marine, he seems very very excited

to play the game but reviewer all across seem to giving it a average score...

I don't really trust reviews.. they were more like personal opinion rather than a review.. but angry joe does make a good review..

the best review you can get is watch the gameplay, or even play the game your self..


that place is a hell hole, full of wannabe's... it's good for getting fast news or rumors, but reviews and opinions? no..

IGN and Eurogamer, and Eurogamer is really professional, like the BBC of gaming news.

I usually read the user/reader's review on Gamespot and Gamefaqs instead of official reviewers which I think they're quite bias to huge investment AAA titles. Sometimes I also watch some gameplay videos on Youtube to convince me to buy certain less famous games

I know it is maybe as a marketing strategy but WTH with releasing review so early

Adam Sesslers recently got lots of hatred for his GoW Ascension review..

for me i like

1) total halibut
2) angry joe
3) gamespot (sometimes)
4) kotaku (sometimes)

not to say 100% agree with them but find it entertaining to watch angry joe and listening to total halibut


EDITED: gamefaqs and metacritic too , but i dont like metacritic, just using it to gauge the general people's view of the game.

rpgamer for RPG reviews... Digitally downloaded is not bad as well..I respect their reviewers...

Though it can get quite bias for RPGamer but they have different views for you to refer to.. And the different views hold very true for Digitally downloaded.. They see the goods in most game but never ignore the flaw as well.. I mean, they are the one who got me into playing Nier with which I fell in love with it ever since... Then later realise that its was actually the same developer with Dakengard series and those 2 games actually have got some link in terms of their universe..

So yea.. As for other sites.. Well, just for entertainment purposes..
