Hi,

I have a cousin highly addicted to online games, he played games almost 24 hours minus sleep time and this year he is in Form 5 supposed to take SPM already. His dad tried to control his game time but he threatened to commit suicide and actually beat up his parents whenever his parents cut the internet line or setup parental control limit.

I discussed with his dad, and we think if we can install a program in his Windows 7 to randomly slow down or crash the specific game.exe program, he will be sick of the game and stop the gaming eventually.

So, can anybody suggest any software or methods that can QUIETLY cause a process to randomly slow down or crash?

thanks in advance!

why not just set a password in the bios?
control his usage.

but do bear in mind that since he's already an adolescence.. its gonna be hard to control him properly with this method.

but perhaps this could help:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-...-Adjuster.shtml

you can configure it to slow down the cpu speed.
suggest you test first before applying.
test to make sure he wont find out,etc..
else its useless..

off the category:
as a parent, the father should not feel threatened by his son's "commit suicide" threats/beating them up.
