how to put subtitle on a video permanently? so i can watch the video on my ipad
or are there any apps that can load .srt file?

There are a lot of good player. I use avplayer. N it load srt files beautifully

another method is to convert the video files + subtitle file using handbrake software on your computer. It's a freeware and able to convert correctly to iPad format and size.
