not just fam..FAs and clubs must spend too. tgk cth tam and titus walaupun dari kecil main oversea..x menjaminkan kejayaan. ada diamond boleh digilap ada yg sampai padam...i'm still hoping tam can proves me wrong.
last season pny harimau b berapa org yg make the cut to play in super league?.. the rest premier league berterabur dah.
a sign to worry..berkemungkinan besar kita bakal tak ada striker berkualiti utk sea games 2015. and honestly i dont want to belittle singapore for 2013 sea games campaign... but i just dont see they will have a shot to compete with harimau muda A OngKimSwee.
harimau muda a pny expenses aku kira ada mungkin paling besar kat sea kot. takde negara lain follow. ni kalau kira dari skuad u16 oks bwk dorg main dgn academy arsenal uk bagai dari dulu mmg confirm sah kita leading. projek indonesia uruguay tu pulak more to building individuals rather than a team.
the good thing is success of harimau muda 2009 team has spurred other projects to run in parallel as well.... frenz united and national football development programme...
so we not only grow vertically but laterally and not only just by one source... just that things with football development program is that it took loooong period before we can see the result.
anyway, even the best football academy in the west cannot guarantee that young prodigy ill turn up as expected.... the only thing we can do is to persevere with the programme.
but I disagree about Singapore. I think their youth development are doing really2 well. maybe not enough to beat current HMA. But they will kick our ass for long long time after that.
