Yeah.. cool keyboards.. I also type a lot in the dark.. sometimes can mistype keys becoz hard to position my hand properly on the keyboard.. but anyway.. it's just plain cool to have an illuminated keyboard.. biggrin.gif

I prefer plain USB ones.. too clumsy to use the converter since I'm using a notebook.. tongue.gif

I like the eluminix ones too.. especially the black one.. classy.. smile.gif

There's one.. but it's kinda clumsy.. allowing you to plug 2 PS/2 devices (keyboard & mouse) and using a single USB slot..

Wow, cool keyboards...

If i were using a desktop, i'll surely go for one of these as i'm also like one of you, always type at night (that's my regular 'net surfing time! tongue.gif )... However, the price may be a major no-no sad.gif ...

The Saitek Eclipse is going for around AUD$100 so I suppose it would be around RM250 in Malaysia.

This Mini EL keyboard seems to fit your bill nicely and does exactly what you want. And it's cheap. smile.gif

Hahaha, maybe the Yanks are so used to small things (considering the size of the ppl! laugh.gif !) that so many gadgets have to be miniaturized!

But have u seen the keyboard on my NX70V? That has to be the SUPER-smallest keyboard that i have ever used... Too bad it does not have a backlight (unlike the other later ARM-based CLIEs) as this is another gadget that i use heavily, both during day and night...

finally i got what i wanted..i think so.

today went LY to find the legendary illuminated keyboard.

tried searching at a few major computer shop and guess what NONE of them have illuminated keyboard. They only have the gamer version Logitech keyboard which is rm200 plus and its huge and just too complicated.

IN the end, i ended up at the ALL IT HYPERMARKET and i found the one and only illuminated keyboard. and it cost only rm69. A a piece of cheap crap but its the only one in the market..what to do.

i was confused..i ask the staff whether it supports MAC OS, they said NO.
I ask some other shops, they said ONLY SOME logitech and microsoft supports MAC.

And the illuminated keyboard is not Logi to Micro.
Then i came across Logitech wireless keyboard. THought it will be fun to have my keyboard wireless..but its a full keyboard. Its huge. dont really like it.

So in the end, it took me 2 hours to decide.

Finally, i got myself the cheap crap illuminated keyboard. PRAYING that it runs on my IBOOK. wish me luck.

me currently at starbuck surfin with my lifebook..if not i can even test it now..damn..

Very nice keyboard there.. I think OSX should have no problem with USB devices though.. sweat.gif

The keyboard looks nice, but with my experience, many of those 'caplang' keyboards tend to have shrunken the keyboard size a bit from the original "full size" versions.. I've used one before, gave me lots of wrist strain.. chucked that away too.. laugh.gif

I went around town and saw a keyboard that is exactly the same as the one I chucked away, except that this one have semi-translucent keys and EL-illuminated.. shakehead.gif Didn't buy it though.. sweat.gif whistling.gif
