If the phone still unregistered the ewarranty..better ask your family member to bring the buy receipt along as a proof of purchase.

Yeah, I think they will bring what they can. I only got slightly worried cause my brother was like "I found your warranty card in the box, still unfilled". That made me doubt a little, but I vaguely remembered registering it so it should be all good. Thanx again.

Slightly weird that it isn't possible to check your warranty status online? With something called "eWarranty" I'd have thought you would be able to, or maybe it is possible but I'm just too blind to see it.

If I don't know any better, I would think you are in politics. Why do selective quoting? You have penned more than 1 post. I quoted yours to which I replied which you intentionally or otherwise conveniently forgot. And when you are in defense mode, make sure you make factual statements lest you be found out. today my wife's s3 can't switch on at all!!! tried to use other s3 battery oso same.. reseat d battery, cabut simcard, oso no response.. i asked my wife, she said, d phone suddenly switch off by itself after she uninstall go locker apps.. why ar?? fyi, dis phone has been rooted by her office mate 3-4 month ago.. so far as i know, after rooted, d phone works perfectly without any problem complained by my wife.. aduiii.. what to do ar?? need to bring to sc for repair?? can claim waranty?? or sc will charge??

Put the battery back into the phone. Without power the phone on..press the three button combo (power, home and volume down) for download mode. See if you can go into this downlosd mode or recovery mode (volume up)
If cannot go into either one mode then you need to send the phone to service centre. Doesn't matter if the phone rooted or not. Service centre will revive back the phone for you.
