Hav a question here, my AthlonXP 2200+ oc'ed to 200Mhz FSB with 10.5 multi at 2100Mhz is considered as what proc at this spec?

wooo...higher clock speeds than my venice 3000+

about the proc running at 200FSB im not so sure, mine at stock was running at 133 FSB x 14 ( AXP 1800++ )

AXP 2600+ Tbred = 2166MHz

So you go do the calculating, used to do 2300MHz (230x10) on my Tbred and the performance is somewhere above A64 3000+ a little thru sisoft sandra benchies.

what is cpu-z show? it detect as xp2200+ or other?

try using CPUID software..see at P-Rating

Should be equal to AthlonXP 3000+

hmm...at cpu-z, it only says Athlon™XP processor. at sisoft sandra, the performance rating is 3052 (Estimated).
so issit now equal to AthlonXP 3000+ Barton Core with 200FSB?

usually 2100mhz t-bred performance nearly same as a 2000mhz athlon 64

so cannot compare la between this two brother..

GKWong..i think its better for u to running at 210 x 10 and not 200 x 10.5..

coz 0.5 for multiplier will manipulate ur ram lor

btw i tried 210x10 b4..but system is not tat stable at windows...sometimes can suddenly restart then after that will get 'windows has just recovered from serious error'. maybe coz i undervolt my proc. and at 210fsb, my ram timing with 2.5-3-3-6 will not boot into windows.

owh..i think ur ram hit the wall @ 200 fsb..anyway..try multi at 11..

i think its my proc tat hit the wall at 200fsb. coz my default fsb is 133mhz. i try 11 multiplier b4 at 200fsb, at 2200mhz, it can boot into windows but can POST.

even if u running at higher speed than default any s939 chip, i bet u wont be able to beat em' as they runnin' on DC..

axp 1800+ oc to 2.3ghz can beat intel pentium 4c at 3.2 ghz
tested and proven

3dmarks were higher, frames per sec in games were higher.
only lost out to far cry

mine proc already multi unlock, but only the vcore for this T-Bred B core is 1.65v..sad...sad...but at least better than T-Bred A tat hav higher voltage.
so now trying to find some better cooling and raise the voltage.

i'm trying to push my Proc to the limit... maybe i shud use dividers....

for socket A system..using divider can effect ur system performance..

but not in 64 bit system

i have something to share here.
I overclock my processor, from 1533 to 2104 with copper base cooler only.
My processor is Athlon XP 1800+ (Thoroughbred B), motherboard is Asus A7V8X-X Rev.1.xx.
In my opinion, you should look for lower stock speed processor to achieve higher overclocking speed.

I would like to know whether nowadays anyone still playing around with their Athlon XP Thoroughbred A/B? I currently have one. Is there any method to make the speed higher? What maximum frequency can Tbred do?

I got a AXP 1800+ NIUHB stepping that can do 2.5ghz flawlessly. Anybody interested ? Im letting it go.
