For registering for Xbox LIve,do we need to provide the cc details first or when 30-day trial wanna expire only give cc details?

Bought the console today from Bernard..
Now need to know when register for Xbox Live need put which postcode better,SG or U.S since i heard if put SG postcode cant purchase one year subscripition.. |

How u guyz manage to dl the demos? When playing games the dl stopped and i have to download all over again...Any solutions?
