You're playing quick match mode? I guess you got connected to the US players because at that time there are open slots for you to join and it's just a coincidence that you the host are US players.

I don't know about Fight Night Round 3, but IINM, in Dead or Alive you can search for custom matches, and you can set the parameter for the search including the player's nationality.

It's considered an old game already. I guess everybody's playing Gears of War now.

There are still people playing old games, just people tends to move on to new games when they are released.

Halo 2? Halo 2 still wins even if you combine all Xbox Live title played online.

No, for those MMORPG that you have to pay separately (like FFXI, Phantasy Star Universe), you only need Silver account and still can play as long as you paid your monthly subscription for those games.

I've been wondering, since it's a multiplayer demo, why would Silver member wants it? I don't think they'll be able to play it since IINM you need Gold subscription to play.

Small Arms brawls with XBLA this Wednesday



Xbox 360 owners looking to feed their Smash Bros. urges will now have an outlet on Wednesday, when Gastronaut Studios' Small Arms will be released on Xbox Live Arcade. The four-player beat-and- shoot-em-up features 12 anthropomorphic characters, each with their own weapon, across eight levels.

One of the achievements which stands out as an interesting social experiment is "Six Degrees of Small Arms." You can only earn the achievement by playing with someone who has it, and right now only the game's creators have it. If the six degrees phenomenon has any merit on Xbox Live, earning this achievement should be a matter of time.

Though the press release does say to "expect premium downloadable content" in the future, it also promises that Wednesday's download will include three single-player modes and both online and offline multiplayer. Small Arms will be available for download 1:00 a.m. PST (that's 05:00 p.m in Malaysia) for 800 MS points, or $10 in real money.

Huh? I thought G.R.A.W was the first with the Assassin (Multiplayer) achievement? You need to find and kill an opponent who has the Assassin Achievement to get it.

Will Microsoft automatically renew your Xbox Live Gold membership once it's expired if you opt to use Credit Card as the payment option?

In October 2006, I renewed my Xbox Live Gold membership using my mom's credit card. I chose 1-month membership, and it's supposed to expire (and revert my account back to Silver) in November. Till today, my Xbox Live account is still under Gold membership. I suspect that Microsoft automatically renewed my Gold membership once it's expired last month. Is that even possible?

Argh, I wanna play Oblivion.

Downloading Mehrune's Razor (800+ KB) takes almost 30 minutes, then I was prompted an Auto-Update. I can't complete downloading the Auto-Update, it keeps disconnecting. Without the Auto-Update, I can't connect to Xbox Live. Without Xbox Live, I can't use Mehrune's Razor (you must be connected to Live to use Oblivion's download content). My weekend sucks.

Nope, it's not just you. International link is down, so we're having trouble connecting to international servers and this include Xbox Live.

Trying to sign in into Live just now. I was prompted a System Update. Any idea what the update is for? I can't find any info.

Is it for adding IPTV functionality? I want to download the update, but scared that the unstable connection will cause the update to fail and might brick my console.
