downloads do not show up on friday to sunday, we'll have to wait till monday US time to see when the update is coming out.

We'll know tomorrow. once it's Monday in the US so we'll know. Like I mentioned before once it wasn't available on Friday morning that was it for the week. Stuff doesn't get released during the weekend.

hmmmm... why do I have this feeling that when using active downloads when download fails due to network reasons, instead of popping out a message or marking as download failed, it just removes it from the list?

Anyway if it's missing just go and download the same item again and it'll resume the downloading if it was incomplete previously

Xbox: you think that's bad? There's one time I was playing with people but all my friends were listed as OFFLINE. How can this happen, well the status is retrieved from another server while you're playing with on another server.

So let's say your 360 goes and queries for friend status and the request times out or disconnects and status isn't returned. so most likely you're gonna just see whatever status was perviously on.

Cause you played before already mar.. first time experience is scary like shit!

It's not MS putting up the content, yes MS get's a cut as with all distributor based agreements. But you have to realise that it's the 3rd party (game publishers, developers) that give MS the content to be put up. And more importantly if you don't like the content don't buy lar! No one's forcing you to buy it!
