I have an offline account with 1.7k gamerscore.
I didn't join xbox live yet ever since I bought the console. but now I want to use that same account with xbox live without loosing the gamerscore.
In order to do so, do I just need to join xbox live with the 1.7k gamerscore account signed in? and when signing up for xbox live do I choose Recover Gamertag?

btw, how to sign up for xbox live silver? I cannot enter marketplace now even when I'm connected.

i'm not 100% sure, but what u need is a hotmail account. the postal address of the hotmail account will determine what region gamertag u'll get (US/SGP/JPN/etc)

from the dashboard, log-in to ur offline account then choose "Join xboxlive". if u r lucky, ur gamertag is still not taken, just follow the on-screen instructions. good luck.

Thanks. I just wanna make sure. I heard several cases that people lost their gamerscore when joining xbox live.

There's no 12 month asian reload, can only get that using credit card.

how to stop a download and resume it? When i play a game, it asked for update the i update, after that, the thing i download will back to 0%. If i dont update, the whole download will stop at there when i play. Guide me plz. THanks!!

Game update or normal download? Game update wouldn't take that long, normal marketplace download you can just cancel or off it. Next time it will resume automatically.

Problem is sometimes it just reset back to 0% and i am not sure why, probably due to broadband stability. Back in malaysia i always encounter that, but now in UK i seldom have that problem.

Arthropods Attack! "Centipede" and "Millipede" Invade Xbox LIVE Arcade





Two of Atari's best loved coin-op classics, "Centipede" and "Millipede," will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 beginning Wednesday, May 2 at 0900 GMT (2:00 a.m. Pacific).

The classic version of "Centipede" challenges gamers to defend their villages against an onslaught of centipedes, spiders, army ants and more. Xbox LIVE Arcade gamers will also have access to an "Evolved" version which features pre-rendered, high definition graphics, special effects like motion blur, trails and particle-based explosions that make this classic as enjoyable today as it was in the arcade decades ago.
