i think normal PC USB wireless adapter cannot...but as i know atleast one Access Point can be use, ie Dlink 2100AP. i also wondering wat other model can be used.....anybody?

How to check the DNS# if it is hardcoded in the modem?

Whats the brand of your modem....is it router modem..or just modem...will try to assist u...

It is in your router setting...under network setup..but it is only recommended to do it for your xbox ip..as it will open all of the port conections with your xbox..whixh is very risky for other apps...

Its normal streamyx modem(Telekom punya) only. Model ZTE ZXDSL 831.

Since I'm just using normal modem without router...I don't think I would be able to play around with DMZ settings....

U r rite...it is a direct connection..then should be easire..give me a second needs to find out the modem config first...will update

You can try to log on to the modem by browsing to http://192.168.1.1/, and login with the following default factory password (if u havnet changed its password):

Try
(Case sensitive)

Username: ZXDSL
Password: ZXDSL

or

Username: ADSL
Password: expert03



Post here the network configuration list...pls..for DNS troubleshoot

by the way u can make your modem to act as router too..but its another story..

Yours is modem router or just a modem...the setting is normally in the administration page for a router...like my case..uder application & gaming section for linksys wrt54gs

but how do you get your ms points? prepaid cards? since ms block non-us credit card susah la, can't buy point sad.gif
