Edit: for now this might not be an issue but as this subforum grows i believe we will be confused by it

We need subforums for IOS/Android so that the forum won't get cluttered. A dedicated forum for IOS and Android will make it more manageable.

I'm not sure if we should segregate by platform (whether tags or subforums), because some games are multiplatform...

If the game in question is copyrighted then is a NO. In fact I just nuked a GBA emulator thread.

If OS-specific tags (e.g. iOS, Android) are added, maybe a Universal tag or Cross-Platform tag should be added as some of the games are available in both major OSes (iOS & Android).

Not sure if this is possible, how about using checkboxes for tag in this section instead of drop-down list (as per current implementation); so that cross-platform thread can select (check) multiple platforms

Our forum doesn't support multi-tagging, and we are currently on a feature freeze.

well, i think its about time mobile gaming gets its own section. so this is a good idea...

tags for IOS/ ANDROID if they are only on a specific platform will be good. if available on both, then not necessary for tag.

good if the threads are informative... i saw one thread... opened up just to post 1-2 screenshots... and then asking anyone tried it. WTH?!? common la... if like that... there'll be a million thread in this section very soon... good example: Wild Blood thread... :S

perhaps a pinned topic for people asking advise/ suggestion for games. similar to Android "Asking for suggestion on what phone to buy"...

hmmm... also, maybe good idea to have clans under the game topic... and not have a topic for each clan... imagine so many games that can have guild/ clan... everyone start one... we'd end up with more clan topics than the games itself...

i think putting the [ios] / [android] / [multi] to differentiate them as of now will be good.
Other than that,if there is some really hot/popular/famous games that has lots of replies,might consider making a subsection,thus ppl can make a thread on their own clan/guilds within the subsection instead of spamming the main section with multiple same kind of games with different clan chats..

or it might be good to make it to 4 sections,iOS,android,windows,multi platform...so the games will be separated and single platform user can go to the sections they desire to find for the games they want .

easier to read thread.

i find having tags is better... otherwise, we'll be back to the original -- games thread being under their OS. i feel gaming should have its own section now. plus, we're gamers and we should not differentiate via platform. tagging is good enuff...

TS just need to tag appropriately and update accordingly.

we should have a common thread for those one-off reviews, like what we have for Android. i wanna share a game but creating a thread seems kinda waste of space... coz dun think i expect many replies, etc...

set categories for games so easy to filter or find

Created thread like in garage sales " of focal nexus 5 thread" like that pin top played games like "Official RealRacing 3 thread"

make subforum for ios and android, and then in those android/ ios subforum make more subforum like rpg/ action/ puzzle/ multiplayer/ etc
