AC Milan 2 - 4 Parma
AC Milan's miserable fortnight took a turn for the worse as old boy Antonio Cassano inspired Parma to a 4-2 victory at San Siro. The pressure has been building on coach Clarence Seedorf following back-to-back Serie A defeats to Juventus and Udinese while the seven-time European champions limped out of the Champions League this week. Seedorf has played down reports of a falling-out with striker Mario Balotelli, who scored Milan's second after Adil Rami weakened the impact of Cassano's early brace, but the Italy striker continues to flatter to deceive. To make matters worse, the Rossoneri will be without Christian Abbiati for next week's trip to Lazio after the veteran goalkeeper saw red in the opening minutes. Amauri and Jonathan Biabiany scored late on to ensure all three points went back to Parma as the Ducale club reached fifth place on the back of a third straight win. Roberto Donadoni's men are unbeaten since early November and dreaming of a return to European competition, while Milan slipped into the bottom half. In the fifth minute Abbiati earned a red card for bringing Ezequiel Schelotto down in the area and Cassano did not have to be asked twice to beat early substitute Marco Amelia from the spot. Milan knew they had to respond quickly or else they would implode and Balotelli elicited gasps when his shot from a corner move rattled a post. Shortly before the break Philippe Mexes risked scoring a calamitous own goal to further compound Milan's misery, but Amelia managed to push the defender's poor clearance to safety. Six minutes after play resumed, Cassano made it 2-0 with a second goal against his former club. The Italy striker, who had almost seen his pass to Afriyie Acquah tucked away moments earlier, took an assist from the Ghanaian and gladly converted his brace. Enough was enough for the Rossoneri, it seemed, and Rami bit back with a thunderous header from Kaka's cross to drag Milan back into the tie in the 56th minute. Their tails were up and, when Joel Obi fouled Riccardo Montolivo in the Parma box, Balotelli fired Milan level with a dummied penalty that sent Antonio Mirante the wrong way. But nothing is ever simple for Milan these days and the equaliser proved to be a false dawn. Almost immediately following the restart, Amauri's clever backheel on a Schelotto pass fooled Amelia to hand the advantage to Parma once again. Hush descended at San Siro and, while most of the Milan faithful began to trickle out of the stadium early, Biabiany confirmed the final outcome with a header that wrapped up another unhappy adventure for the home team. http://espnfc.com/en/report/377037/report....et=true&cc=4716 |

QUOTE(Muhammad Syukri @ Jun 30 2014, 09:25 PM) Thank you for everything Ricky, you always be a one of a legend to play with the Rossoneri. it's true about some rumors said balotelli will joining other club next season? Now the club can focus on transfer target Juan Manuel Iturbe after the dispatch of Kaka. This boy really have a potential to be tremendous RW playing alongside El Sharaawy & Super Mario in trident formation. |

He already emptied his locker room & his agent otw to Liverpool. so what the plan?milan still a worldd class pllayer left? Thanks for everything Mario, I was hoping him to be a pillar for the youth project but he never accomplished what I expected him to be. AC Milan 2-0 Napoli
http://footyroom.com/ac-milan-2-0-napoli-2014-12/ http://www.espnfcasia.com/italian-serie-a/...n-napoli/report AC Milan are only two points shy of the final Champions League place after beating their Serie A rivals Napoli 2-0 at San Siro. Jeremy Menez notched his eighth goal of the season shortly after kick-off and Giacomo Bonaventura pushed the Rossoneri into a dominant position with a header just after half-time. The result means Milan climb above Napoli and into seventh place. Immediately above them are Lazio, Sampdoria and Genoa, who are all locked on 26 points and also targeting continental football. Milan wasted no time opening the scoring in front of an expectant home crowd. Only six minutes were on the clock when Menez accelerated to reach Bonaventura's through-ball before steering it beyond Rafael Cabral with a cool, hooked finish. Napoli took a while to respond but, when they did, they thought they had equalised through Gonzalo Higuain - the Argentinian clipped into an empty net in the 21st minute but was ruled offside. The Azzurri took heart from their near miss, however, and laid siege to Diego Lopez's goal for three frenetic minutes. First, David Lopez saw his namesake repel his snapshot, then the Milan goalkeeper got down to cover Jose Callejon's stab at the rebounding ball. The best chance fell to Higuain moments later, but he could not fool the keeper with a bicycle kick. On 34 minutes Milan bit back in style, with Andrea Poli wriggling past Jorginho to sneak into the box and flash a left-footed drive just wide of the far post. The Rossoneri were lucky to take their lead into the break, though, as Philippe Mexes went dangerously close to turning Higuain's low shot into his own net. Filippo Inzaghi's men repeated their feat of the first half by catching their opponents cold shortly after the restart. In the 52nd minute Bonaventura was the man best placed to guide Pablo Armero's perfect cross past Rafael, thus doubling Milan's advantage. Goal number three might have arrived soon after as Menez sent Poli into a confrontation with Rafael that the Napoli stopper only just managed to survive. Milan came knocking again around the hour mark when a fantastic move from Menez sent him past two defenders, only for Kalidou Koulibaly to shepherd him off the ball. On-loan Udinese winger Armero risked scoring an own-goal when clearing the ball off Duvan Zapata's feet but still Napoli came sniffing and Higuain soon flashed a volley just wide of the mark. The Azzurri did find spaces to exploit as time ticked away in Milan, but the impressive Diego Lopez would deny Higuain the satisfaction of a consolation goal with his stunning save from a fizzing drive. Carlo Ancelotti will coach AC Milan, says Silvio Berlusconi
AC Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi says Carlo Ancelotti is the only candidate to be the next coach at the club, and has hinted the former Real Madrid boss' arrival is a forgone conclusion. Berlusconi's side has suffered through a disappointing campaign, which has seen the Rossoneri slump to 10th in the Serie A table under Filippo Inzaghi. But the former Italian prime minister believes Ancelotti, a European Cup winner as a player and coach with Milan, is the only man to turn fortunes around. "Alternatives? I don't want to consider alternatives to Ancelotti," Berlusconi told Mediaset, which he owns. "We'll talk about these things later, if Ancelotti doesn't come. But since he will come, there is no need to even have these conversations." Despite Ancelotti's insistence that he wants to take a year off, Milan joint-CEO Adriano Galliani travelled to Spain last week to convince the a San Siro return -- a homecoming that would please Berlusconi and Milan's fans. "I hope there's a big chance Ancelotti will become the next Milan coach," Berlusconi said. "Going around for my election campaign, all the Milan fans have advised me to bring Ancelotti back. I've listened, and found a solution, with the same desire to win. "He's a winner, he's won everywhere he's coached. Now he'll have a minor operation and will take his decision, which is also down to his family. "I hope it's a positive decision for Milan, because he's very much wanted at Milan." Galliani said on Thursday that he felt there was a "50-50" chance Ancelotti would return this season. In addition to Ancelotti, the Milan chief expressed his desire to bring back former star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whom the club sold to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2012. "I'm fixated on his return, although it's a very difficult thing to make happen, and it will take patience," Berlusconi said. "But he's magnificent on the pitch." Ibrahimovic, who exited along with former Milan defender Thiago Silva that summer, has been a key player for the ambitious Parisians since his arrival at the French capital http://www.espnfcasia.com/ac-milan/story/2...lvio-berlusconi |
