Hi

Anyone have any experience setting up VPN (PPTP) to play LAN games via the Internet ?

Currently set up a VPN server (using M0n0wall) (PPTP) and user from the net can enter my VPN (able to ping either party and share files and folders via network neighbourhood) However when we run LAN games (tested with warcraft3) , The PC used to serve as the server for the LAN game cannot be contacted by the other PC and vice versa it the client VPN PC is set as warcraft LAN server.

local PC (10.0.0.X) ---> M0n0wall (10.0.0.1) <----- VPN client (PPTP) 10.0.0.X (VPN IP) / 192.168.1.X (local IP)

Any ideas?
Is it something to do with the routing tables ? The client VPN PC is able to surf the net using the tunnel to my site(IE using my Public IP to surf net).
Thanks in advance.

I checked on the net, VPN client is unable to broadcast and Warcraft 3 uses broadcast in LAN game to connect the players. Is there a way to set to allow broadcast in VPN client (if this is the problem why both players cannot see each other) ? via subnet ?
