Hello all,

I would want to overclock my Sapphire 7970 OC Edition to test out the Crysis 3 for benchmarking. But can i know what is the stock voltage for the card? And is there any successful voltage tweaks to share?

Using the Sapphire TRIXX overclock utility,

GPU Clock - 980Mhz
Memory Clock - 1465mhz
VDDC - 1025
Board Power Li - +0

Newbie here smile.gif

Thanks a lot in advance!

I think your stock voltage was 1050mv. though it could possibly be 1025mv also but it's hardly seen so I guess should be 1050mv default. here's some example of what you can achieve using Sapphire Trixx under watercooling. If air cooling, usually 7970 can be oc'ed up to 1200/1600 stable but you have to raise the fan speed. make a fan profile yourself.

the only reason i choose msi afterburner is it can unlock voltage with just one click.

there is no need to flash the bios. : )
