Let share the Kyosho ASC 1:28 body shell race characteristic .

Ferrari F1 scale 1/24


F1 chassis give u a very stable handling due to long wheel length and overall steering respond was very sensitive .


Drift AWD MA-015 body shell : scale 1/28


compare both drift body shell old school AE86 Vs Mazda Rx-7 FD (both wheel length 90mm)
Both body shell give you huge different due to AE86 have to run font & rear tire narrow in-order not to get contact in between tyre & body.
the drift rating : 5/10 for me....

FD ...haven't run this body sheel yet , will do review when i try....! but info on the spec of the tyre front narrow, rear wide, it should be easy that AE86

Mosler original white body shell .


with tamiya PS paints on.....but before that have to do masking on white area.


final with sticker on or use water decal sticker mark on with clear gloss coating.


i like this body shell very much , overall down force is very similar to Pan Car , easy to handle , offset wheel front +2 , rear +3 .
con....a bit heavy compare to other super GT body shell , is suitable for modify open class race.

finally , my AE86 ready for drift after deco lighting & setting up with correct solid axle , Ball diff lock . It awesome while drifting this machine.....to be cont....

Doesn't look like Kyosho the paint job doesn't look like Kyosho.

Kyosho Mini Z Malaysia Season Race 2013

Rules And Regulations.
(Update July 2013)

Car Specification

Chassis
- Open to all 1/27 on road cars, i.e. Kyosho Mini Z AWD, MR02, MR015, MR01, Firelap, Iwaver and X-mod.

Body Shell
- Kyosho, TRP and Firelap Body shell are allowed.
- Pan Car and Lemans body are not allowed in both stock and modified class.
- Judges reserve the right to disqualify a body for excessive material removal.
- All windscreens must be remaining secure in the body shell.
- Lexan Body are not allowed

Motor
- PNWC Official 70 Turns Stock Motor for the 1st race.
- Atomic Standard Motor 60T
- 1st race all racer must run with PNWC 70T motor
- 2nd race until last race, A Main top 3 driver must remain on PNWC 70T motor, others racer can choose Atomic Standard Motor 60T or PNWC 70T motor to use.
- Silver and carbon brush allowed to change.
- Motor must run with original motor can, original magnet and original armature.

Wheel
- Unlimited.

PCB Board
- Only original Kyosho, Atomic, Firelap or X-mod PCB boards are allowed. FET upgrade is allowed. External Turbo is allowed.

Battery
- Car must be powered by four AAA size batteries. No more, No less.
- Batteries must be Alkaline, NiMH, or NiCd.
- No other type of battery is allowed. / For example: Lithium Polymer batteries are not allowed.
- Extra Capacitor is allowed.

Tyre
- Any Brand: Rubber/silicone tyre only.
- No foam tires allowed.
- No traction compounds allowed on tires, or race surface.
- Tire warmers are allowed / Tires only cleaned with a 70% alcohol solution.

WEIGHT, WIDTH & HEIGHT
- Minimum weight (170g)
- Max wheel base (98mm)
- Max car length (180mm)
- Max car width (80mm)
- Max car height with wings (45mm)

Transmitter
- Any brand transmitter.

Lap counting system
- Robitronic transponder system
- Race organizer will on the lap counting system 1 hour for testing. Driver are encourage to test and make sure the transponder is place in the correct matter.
- In our pass experience, miss lap is due to driver handle the transponder not correct. Miss lap is responsible by the racer.
- Race organizer final result is the final result.

Marshal
- Drivers are responsible and compulsory to be a marshal when the other groups or mains is in racing. For example A main drivers need to be B Main marshal when B main is racing or vice versa. Penalty will be imposed for drivers who fail to be a marshal.

Mains Grouping
- Main will be justified by the qualifying hits on the race day.

Registered
- Last date to register, please refer to the race calendar

Qualifying Hits
- 3 x 5 minutes qualifying time, starting grid position to determine by the qualifying hits.
- There will be three qualifying runs for each class.
- Each run will last 5 minutes.
- For the first run, the starting grid will be staggered in a random order.
- For the second run, the starting grid will be reversed.
- For the third run, racers will be re-shuffled into heats based results from the
previous two qualifier runs.
- The starting order for each run will be based on the number of laps run in
the time allowed.

Race Format
- A Main
3 x 10 minutes final.
- B and C Main
3 x 10 minutes final
- 2 best final result will recorded at point system.

- Point system is according to following
1st 100p
2nd 99p
3rd 98p and so on
- If there is same point occur between drivers, driver who get the best result in the best 2 final will be the champion.

- Example:
Driver A best 2 results are 1st and 3rd. Total point is 198.
Driver B best 2 results are 2nd and 2nd. Total point is 198.
Driver A best lap is 52 laps 10.00.00 for 3 races
Driver B best result is 52 laps 10.01.000 for 3 races
- Champion goes to driver A because Driver A have the best result.

Fees
- RM50 per race including track fees.
- RM5 for transponder rental for who do not have personal transponder.

Result
- There will be 5 races in 5 months. The best 4 results will be chosen to calculate position.

Point System
1st - 25 point
2nd - 20 point
3rd - 16 point
4th - 13 point
5th - 11 point
6th - 10 point
7th - 9 point
8th - 8 point
9th - 7 point
10th - 6 point
11th - 5 point
12th - 4 point
13th - 3 point
14th - 2 point
15th - 1 point

Top qualifier (Qualifying A Main 1st)
1 point


Note:
Due to limited pit stop place in Mini Z Dynasty and Mini Z Element. Participants are encouraged to well organize the pit stop area.

Any loss, broken or stolen item are not responsible by Mini Z Dynasty and Mini Z Element.
