Introduction
This package contains concentrated phytoplankton. Pythplankton is a source of food for zooplankton. Daphnia and rotifier are type of zooplankton. Manufactured by Phytoplus United Kingdom who is expert in fish foods. This item is 100% effective. I have personally tested and very satisfy with the result.
READY STOCK BUT LIMITED. Grab fast.
Package
1 bottle of 50ml CONCENTRATED microalgae /phytoplankton (100% Nannochloropsis & tetraselmis cells). Suitable for FRESHWATER and saltwater rotifers, copepods, daphnia, artemia, filer feeder shellfish, corals
Storage
Keep cool in refrigerator. Can last up to 3 months. Shake once in a while.
Advantages
1. Absolutely hygiene. No need to risk your health to capture the daphnia at longkang or loji kumbahan. Only God knows what hamrfull patogens live there. Plus you might be getting drawn while catching daphnia.
2. It is so convenience. No need to culture that smelly dirty green water, pea soup or using that uneffective spirulina powder.
3. Cost economical. Save money on your petrol, courier or shipping. Just find a starter culture for one time and you are good to go. RM44 for 120 days = RM0.37 per day. So you only spend roughly 20 cents per meal.
4. Decrease mortality due to lack of food and increase your fries survival.
How to use?
1. Drop 5 drops into a container with aged water for 100-200 daphnia culture. Adjust 'drop' accordingly to your culture size.
2. Stir and pour gently into your daphnia culture.
3. Repeat every day morning and evening time.
4. Monitor closely the culture and harvest every 2 days.
5. Keep the culture clean by changing the water PARTIALLY with aged water.
6. Remove any debris and dead daphnia. I personally recommend to use clear container.
7. Avoid direct sunglight. Daphnia and rotifiers are very sensitive towards temperature fluctuating.
8. I personally dont use any aeration for my culture. But some people say daphnia can live with GENTLE aeration.
