You can get them from most of the game shop that selling ds/3ds, you just ask them for 3ds/dsi charger(both are using the same head btw).
I get mine from some game shop at lowyat plaza(around rm20)

You can try Viewnet store at 3rd floor for the games, I usually shop there for my 3ds games.
Also, you can find some other game store after handphone level at lowyat. Well, lowyat got many game stores to pick

Yea, your digital purchased item are tied to nnid account. The transfer process above will also transfer your nnid and all the digital games will be redownloadable later.

No need, the normal 3ds also can play it. Just if you playing the on the new 3ds you will get some enhancement.
The only known title so far that will require new 3ds to play is xenoblades chronicles.

Well, for now the new 3ds xl official price for the US is quite higher than normal xl. So I think its safe to say the price will stay
that way for long time unless theres official price slash in future. Btw the price is higher due to the US msrp not because of demand
