Hi guys!

Just purchased my 2nd Nintendo handheld console (the 3DSxl and loving it! ) ever since the first Gameboy Color hehehe. I recently purchased a brand new set from a forumer here and it didn't came with the serial code to redeem at Club Nintendo, is it normal? Or does certain region doesn't come with it. I assume mine is the US set? Anybody can enlightened me would be gladly appreciated since the seller refuses to explain

Yes it doesn't come with it. The seller kept saying all 3DSxls don't come with one (which confuses me since 4 of my friends recently purchased their units with the red PIN code slip perfectly in the box) and the seller kept reminding me saying how "lucky" I am to be able to buy 3DSXL from him during the short supply period



This above applies to ASI games correct? So this applies to consoles too? I'm pretty sure I bought the US version. No stickers on the front

Yup. I was scouting for the 3DSXL the whole day. Managed to get it through this fella since he's the only one with stock at that very moment. All I know the box was already opened when I'm dealing with him. Said he wanted to conveniently put the screen protector beforehand.

Okay here's the box.

I strictly ask him whether it is a refurbished set or not. And he claimed to say it isn't. Stellios was with me during the time we COD at Subang USJ19. michaelggg900 need some explaining to do. What should I do guys? Bring him to dispute thread?

Yup, did just that and he replied. He said the unit came like that & it was my fault for not checking first
Plus he offered to buy back my 3DSXL for RM550 or topup RM100 for the reward card. Brilliant.

Haih this guy fell head first into concrete ka, head screw damn loose.

RM850 with 1 game. About the same as everyone else was selling at the time.

Good news. He said I win and agreed to do a full refund for the refurbished 3DSxl unit I don't know how he can still dare to operate & survive with these business ethics in Lowyat.net. Oh if I wanna transfer my saved games files... is it stored on the game cartridge or on the SD card itself? I wanna backup my Animal Crossing village

I don't think he realized the scale of the problem. Had a small chat during the exchange, I wanted to hear his side of the story. He advised me all 3DS are now currently selling in refurb condition. I understood this clearly, and told him that if I ever wanted a refurb unit I would've bought it at Heavyarm in the first place. He did not give me a chance to voice out that he's missing the whole point. The point was he said its not refurb. I had to discover it in the worst possible way, which was after the purchase. He admitted (finally sell a refurb unit) and claimed that the unit was already concealed directly from his supplier. Then come out all sad story about me lucky getting a cheap unit during the short supply period (again), not making a lot of money & etc. Then he started mentioning he will sell the used unit to his other customers... I know he's a good trader but please, mention this to your customers. I know most people wouldn't mind.

So please be wary if you guys wanted a non-refurbished unit. I'm aware of the scarcity of 3DSxl units right now, judging by scouting around Lowyat.net. 3 of my buddies got their units in all three colors (Red, Blue and Black) non-refurb units in the past few days at a local shop in Shah Alam perfectly fine maybe due to old stock. Welp, there's that. Looks like I'll be 3DSxless for a few days... Nice timing for the Zelda edition

That's my thought exactly. I knew last time game cartridges do carry saved games, just wanted to be sure. I backed up my SD card already and I hope my town will still be there waiting for my return

RM899 with Screen Protector and Local Adapter included! Asked already myself. MSRP for the unit currently stands at 219.99USD
but everywhere the price had gone up 349.99USD. Play-Asia pre-ordering still not available If you ask me, that's a very reasonable price for the Zelda Edition!

I was too late for pre-ordering the Zelda Edition 3DS

Had the full poison effect after watching the game's review today. Have to wait for 2nd batch
Is there any other local shops taking the unit for stocks? Or PO?
