Now they deactivated my account since I do not stay in united states

I am still stuck. My PC and mobile phone can connect but the 3DS can't.

your 3ds is using auto-dns setting or manual dns setting?

Means 3DS owners can now have a nintendo account. All purchase can be tied to an account not like before which is tied by console only. Maybe. This not sure.
Nintendo Network ID is used on Wii and Wii U before where you can log in and stuff. This would probably mean like I said games are no longer tied to a handheld.
Something similar like PSN, Xbox account.

not really... there's no NNID on wii, and so far (based on wii u) eventhough there's NNID, eshop purchase is still tied to the console. NNID is far from similar to PSN/XBOX live, but since it will be come to 3ds, probably they will revamp it to be more real account based... hopefully

On the Wii U it's also the same you could see friend being online, plays what and see profile and a bit more but basically not much different.
Swapnote is cool, it's just that people rarely open it or share their stories. I've started to liking it but those who previously post a lot there sudden stop posting..

bought 3DS XL (ASI) last week with preinstalled Mario Kart 7. just start playing AC:NL yesterday. Still learning about this new console. My last game console was GBA SP. the main reason i bought 3DS is for playing Pokemon (my first pokemon since Ruby/Sapphire!). LOL

any recommended accessories? i haven't bought any yet, except the USB cable from Daiso. saw some ppl selling the pouch/case for RM50 (or more), but not sure if it's worth it. is the rm5 screen protector in Daiso good?
