I'm thinking to buy the G230 headset to enjoy playing Nintendo 3DS' title such as Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Theterhythm etc and I would like to enjoy gooding sound.

My question is, is it overkill to use G230 for my 3DS?

If just for Fire Emblem I'd say overkill, but Theaterrhythm or Resident Evil it's a plus.

Ohh, to elevate the thrill and suspense? Nah, I'm scared playing horror game, I can't even finish Amnesia first chapter. biggrin.gif

If including Harmoknight? I just want a decent over the ear headphone to enjoy the deeper sound that's unheard from the speaker. Any suggestion? blush.gif

I use Razer Morray and it's quite nice. Nice bass and clarity in addition to be loud.

Either you buy credits, or you use some international credit card.

Read the first post and the third post for more information.

I personally use the top-up card.

And the postcode is the system wanna know where you live in US so it can decide how much you will get charged on sales tax
But my suggestions is use a state that doesn't have a sales tax (e.g. Oregon, Alaska, etc.) so you will get tax-free laugh.gif

You play classic or casual? I just got my hand with the game earlier today, just finish the prologue chapter.

I set my 3DS Alaska to buy some games from eShop... hmm.gif For a $2 game, I got charged $0.12...? So it's not completely tax-free?

Both also play. But Hard/Classic is slow, since the enemy is harder. So for now I play Hard/Casual.

I play normal/classic, but always resetting the game when my character(s) die. Arhh, so frustrating, my first time playing this series, don't know how to equip item, spell and optimise other things. Well, looks like I have to head to IGN for the starter guide. biggrin.gif

If you are playing casual then you really need to understand the mechanics of the game.

Like how they calculate skill activation et cetera.

I was thinking to start over and choosing the Normal/Casual mode. I just finished chapter 4 only, so still very early. What do you think? Should I just continue, maybe the skill will be developed over time. Because I'm quite egoistic at the first place that's why dare to play classic. Or will it continue to be more difficult and making me stress only and not enjoying the game?

And shit, I'm playing Lunatic/Classic (Chapter 8) and Hard/Casual (Chapter 16).

At higher levels it will be more harder, more stronger enemies and with damn skills. My friend and I, even though I'd say we are seasoned Fire Emblem player, took a lot of time to play Classic. I still have both save file for Classic and Casual, just that for the sake of story and progress, I play Hard/Casual more. He plays Classic as he got the time to spend. For the old players of Fire Emblem the challenges of the Classic mode always a soemthing that drives them on. But with Awekening somehow, it goes to another level. Skills developing is not a big problem, just the matter of understanding. I'd say, try Hard/Casual or Lunatic/Casual first then try Classic mode. or do like me, go for both.

But then again, there always Lunatic+. So for now I'm going to complete my Casual and then play Lunatic+.

If I have the time, I'd play Classic. 1 battle will take almost 1 hour to play if everything goes well. Luckily there's DLC to help, but even DLC are hard in Classic. =_=

Wow, I've been absent from video game for so many years already so I'm really not a great "tactician" biggrin.gif

But, is it wiser to just shoot for Hard/Casual, is Normal mode too easy meh?

Hard/Casual fine although you can still gg the game if you are not paying enough attention, never touched Normal wouldn't recommend it either.
