I also use the last day of 2012 as the reference price....and then the gain from 01012013 onwards. Anyway, my unrealized gain was contributed mainly from MBSB, and my realized was by BIMB. Small banks help me a lot. I'm expecting whole year dividend yield of about 5% from my current portfolio invested value, not the current portfolio market value.

So far so good.10%+ gain exclude dividend  

KLSE= not much in KLSE, most leftovers from 10 years ago.. most likely yellow, cant go down much from 0.5sen.
HK= slight green
Philippine = pretty green
Indonesia = luminous green
Singapore = luminous green

Not worth selling.. Prob not enough to pay for brokerage too..
Just calculated, I am up 26.8% since Jan 1st 2013. I don't think I can get that kind of return in KLSE, so I 'cheated' and invested elsewhere.

Can someone pls enlighten me on the logic of say, EPF disposing  eg. 50000  shares and acquiring 100,000 shares from the same counter on the very same day? Why do they do that??

Panamy is a seasonal counter, from my observation.
It will go up in anticipation of good dividend coming soon.
And the stock will get sold down during the end of the year (after dividends disbursed).

Pre-election liao, must give a flying color Q1.

Yesterday US last trading day for Q1 and forced itself to close higher...
if Jibby no funny action today.. probably we'll be higher..

i only know the closer we are to GE, the more cray KLCI gets..
are FF betting big that incumbent gov will win ?
are FF really that dumb to panic sell later ?
are FF all ready to support the mkt and make it higher before the run ?
