I feel so tempted to root my phone... not sure why i can't really stand with the stock GUI and restricted functions!

But, can i revert everything once i were to send back to repair? Is there a way to reset flash counter even i flash the stock firmware over?

does anyone has problems in viewing pictures directly from whatsapp after updating to the latest firmware (i presume cuz there are so many OTA updates nowadays), it always says "low memory, please restart your device if you keep seeing this messages"

I checked my RAM and storage. both are plenty left...

current firmware: XDMB2

sigh, i cant root my phone at all... the flash counter increased through flashing the recovery image via odin but it didnt reboot in recovery... it will just boot to android and stock recovery keeps replacing the custom recovery

is there any other way to root besides odin? like superoneclick?

have you tried CF Auto Root ?

im reading it. It will use stock recovery but i would prefer custom ones as I can flash roms on the go rather than relying on odin each time when there's a cool rom produced sad.gif

You can always root with CF-Auto root then use Mobile Odin to flash custom recovery CWM or TWRP.
Or find a pre-rooted custom rom.
