I doh.gif you cos didn't know you were using DSBS all these while ler.
And besides your screen capture doesn't seem to have the DSBS icon on the top left as well laugh.gif

Only slight drawback with DSBS,
- downloading TheStar ePaper would require you to disable DSBS or you have to keep your screen ON
- audio streaming doesn't work if screen is OFF
- to use WiFi tethering, you've got to switch DSBS OFF as well

in other words, if you need constant internet access - forget about DSBS or only activate DSBS when you're sleeping laugh.gif

yeah.. SMS runs on 2G network. So no problem as the DSBS only shuts down 3G & WiFi

You will not receive any notifications from your phone when the screen is OFF (whatsapp, wechat, fb, twitter, etc). If you set periodic wake up frequency to 1hour for 1min, your phone will only wake up to connect to 3G or WiFi in the period of 1hr with the duration of 1min.

Are you guys using Gmail app or the Email app itself?
Does the Email app saves the mails to the phone memory? or it's just the same principle as the Gmail app ?
