Today is my Day 2 with Note 2 after happily with Galaxy S I9000 for 26 months. Doing some research to root and flash to latest firmware.

Dilemma if I should move to rooted stock rom or custom rom. Previously when on Galaxy S, I migrated from stock to DarkyRom then SlimBean.
Which do you recommend? Thanks |

One immediate help needed. I tried using Chrome to browse some website and was prompted "Coolies are not enabled on your browser. Please adjust this in your security preferences before continuing"
The Accept Cookies in Chrome is checked, where else I need to make the setting? Edited : Problem solved by rebooting This post has been edited by Sampo: Feb 6 2013, 12:14 AM |

Having the device rooted is so important especially with CWM. Can't live better without root. Just downloaded the root stock room, will try tommorrow

My friend bought a Note 2 from a shop few months back but the dealer did not register the warranty on his behalf. He only knew it when he send the phone to service center. To play safe, you can register your unit here @ http://cybersvc2.samsungcsportal.com/cyber...locale_id=my_en
I just did mine. Ohh, this morning my N2 prompted me to update firmware to XXDMA6. Now need to root my device |

I updated my N2 to XDMA6 few days ago and rooted it. Since it is mentioned DMB2 is a better battery saving firmware, can I just update it using ODIN without unroot my N2 using Triangle Away?
