I am using it . Actually I prefer dolphin but it will keep running on background if you do not exit properly. I usually open lots of tab so opening it again and again is troublesome. Boat browser will sleep nicely when you exit by home button.

Ur neak guide is quite good on batttery. Normally staying on 700mhz . Still not yet try the standby drain. So far so good.

How come I wanna flash cwm or twrp recovery via mobile odin then it stuck there and hang. Need to remove battery to boot up again.

Yeah. Done that and still stuck at the mobile odin and hang. I downloaded from twrp page n7100 but still same. Mobile odin oso is latest version now.
Then tried to flash cwm also stuck at mobile odin doh.gif

I remember flashing stock rom thru mobile odin will erase cwm right? Now thinking to flash stock with custom kernel.

Okay done that and all the kernel recovery is showing none. So it mean flashing it now will retain my cwm recovery right?

I think my nandroid is 3 months old dy. Flashed and now back with stock rooted. Thanks . I still dont know the idea of backing up nandroid.

You do Nandroid via CWM recovery or TWRP. Actually one Nandroid is enough but try to keep the latest backup. The old one you can delete for storage space saving biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif I know how to do nandroid. I just dont understand what the use of nandroid. If anything goes wrong . Cant we just flash back stock rom via pc odin ?

Nandroid can save a bricked phone izzit ?
For all data i use TiBU backup only.
Always read people backing up nandroid and efs but not really getting wat it mean. But i always did a tiBU before flashing biggrin.gif

Okay. So stock DMA6 + Neak 1.6x + simplistic 3.5 mess up and stuck at booting samsung logo like forever. Nandroid restore LOL and flash again. Dont know which combination cause problem now. Kernel or simplistic

Somehow I am curious about safety when using some custom rom from XDA . What I mean is some new user posting out some roms in the development forums. A bit paranoid to try out those. I usually only use rom from recognize dev and above status.
