QUOTE(Isabell @ Feb 8 2013, 11:29 AM) I dont think an LED will waste a lot of battery. Most prob the amount of battery used is insignificant. Dear sifus, correct me if im wrong.. that is correct. in fact using live wallpaper on note 2 the battery usage is quite negligible with normal wallpaper.

QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 8 2013, 10:32 AM) on side note, any idea why HTC & Nokia is going into built in battery system like iphone? any advantage (from user's perspective)? one less reason to open up the phone. even padfone2 comes with a battery that is not supposed to be removed by end user. there's a slot on the phone to insert the sim card. with people not opening up the phone... less risk of sth damaged... from user POV. if you're really a non-techie... then very easy to trouble-shoot. just bring back to SC. no need for technician to tell you to open the case, remove battery... insert this... insert that... QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Feb 8 2013, 11:06 AM) Do u guys use notification led or is it just a waste of power? i find it useful. from the lights, i know what type of messages... so then i know some messages can wait till later. at night, i have blockmode on... so the lights dun turn on. they can be really bright in a dark room.

QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 7 2013, 10:30 AM) as to your experiment, yes you try to use the same setup as close as possible but once you unplug and plug in again, you already change the settings a bit, so can affect the final current just one thing to note even those ori cable that can achieve 1800 constantly will also have this problem (unplug and after some time plug again will have different readings) but in my opinion, i think the ori cable has a higher current carrying capacity than 1800, so you can't see the difference. i think u r right... coz the same cable and charger... in the same wall socket at my home. last night... i got 1300 instead of 700 which i reported yesterday. which then raises the Q... so, is our electrical stuffs (cables, adapter, etc) so inconsistent that using the same stuff can give almost a 50% performance difference? scary, no?

For both the situation did you start charging from the same battery percentage?

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Feb 8 2013, 11:06 AM) Do u guys use notification led or is it just a waste of power? I dun think the led will consume much battery juice, it didn't turned on 24/7... I'm glad that Samsung finally implemented the notification LED... IMO, i found it very useful... It let me know if i have a miss call or unread sms...

Just wondering anyone haven't bought a case and screen protector, I'm selling off a SGP Leather Case Folio (Navy Blue) and Ultra Optics (1 piece only, I'm using the other piece). I bought 2 case and decided to only use 1.

i am reading thru the thread of AllianceROM & Du@lNote AOSP 5.0 at XDA. Currently still trying to decide which 1 to flash soon. Both are stock ROMs but themed like AOSP (not going for any CM base / AOSP base yet as i still want to maintain some of the Samsung / s pen features). So getting used to SlimBean during my SGS days, thus stock theme don do it for me anymore! lol anyone tried any of these 2? the feedback from XDA sounds good!: AllianceROMDu@lNote AOSP 5.0This post has been edited by cradle0fFilth: Feb 8 2013, 12:39 PM
