QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 7 2013, 06:16 AM) Agreed. Dun understand why Samsung keep on release those mini series and plus series... all are about the same as original. See the S3 mini ... S2 is definitely better than S3 mini... why would they want to release a S3 mini just because of its brother S3...QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 7 2013, 08:34 AM) chrome is not beta. there are 2 versions in the play store, beta and a stable version. No... there is a stable version as Chrome does.Firefox is beta I think. but it's been beta too long. Firefox for android. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 7 2013, 11:40 AM) actually, some of the Samsung added stuffs on note 2 is quite good. hahah... pop up browser pop up video player... u couldnt find it /very limited on google play if not mistaken so is the best lor hahaha what i like is the stock video player can play all video format... no need third party software pop up browser. the pop up video player -- but i have to say... Dice (i think, or was it MX Player) also have this function and can even resize. but the stock apps are quite well integrated. they feel integrated.... btw, this pop up video player seems nice https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...G9wdXBWaWRlbyJd |

QUOTE(joytest @ Feb 7 2013, 11:31 PM) worse, since you are comparing it with only 1 prior situation. haha thanks.Maybe fruitie can help, as I don't have FB on my device. Likely a clearing of Gallery cache or a reboot may solve it. Nvm i found the solution, delete fb apps, clear data from gallery then untick sync, reinstall fb done |

QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 8 2013, 10:32 AM) on side note, any idea why HTC & Nokia is going into built in battery system like iphone? so that they can win iphone quality in drop test any advantage (from user's perspective)? QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 8 2013, 10:38 AM) i always think it is a bad idea becuz in case phone hang, then die. moreover if battery life sucks have to carry powerbank all the time ehm QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 8 2013, 11:03 AM) then u were saying Samsung is stupid ... see note 2 / S3 so many buyers got money dun 1 earn hahaha QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 8 2013, 04:57 PM) Because iphone style less mechanism for removing back casing Agreed... iphone always expect ppl to use their stuffs... without able to modify... Then prevent ppl to tempered with the stuff behind. Its always cheaper to make one form then make 2 to 5 pieces then come together. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Feb 9 2013, 01:19 AM) Haha you are in marine engineering right? For DiGi, there is an apps for u to check All telcos have dates called "Bill Cycle", specified at various dates throughout the month. You got a prorated reading based on your assigned bill cycle date. You can ask the center to check what is your bill cycle date or call 123 they should also be able to tell you. That is why you are getting those figures. You can very simply check your usage by dialing this: *136*9*1# - this is a shortcut to the menu item that returns your data usage so far. This code applies only for Maxis. For Celcom you need to send an SMS with the words "VOL STATUS" to 22188. I don't know about Digi. Do you guys need this info on the first page? My DiGi |

QUOTE(joytest @ Feb 9 2013, 03:03 PM) LOL ROFLMAO thx PeeEl today everybody back to hometown celebrating eve i guess... so silent 1 Well....certainly a lively discussion while I was away for a few hours. So anyway, I would say these are fairly standard Internet slang terms which are rather widely used in US and UK forums. I said I will correct grammar and semantics. IINM + correct sentence structure is purely a faster way of saying "if I'm not mistaken" and it's actually the first hit on this: https://www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&...iw=1123&bih=698 I am not berating anybody simply for the use of abbreviations, but of course, if one can get WTF and FTW mixed up, I'm quite sure I won't be the only one piling in on the poor sod's mistake, and this has happened on none other than soyacincau.com ... http://www.soyacincau.com/2013/02/08/maxis...r-smart-phones/ [attachmentid=3302198] xoxo all, GXFC ???? Oh please everybody, I don't bite, I only make some grammatical and semantic corrections. IMHO using "bcauz" is far more grating |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Feb 10 2013, 01:57 AM) I am using ES File Explorer, but no idea the wifi access option ES file explorer - can use as FTP or LAN. If you use LAN network, you must have permissions to access your network folder on PC, then you can transfer files from PC to Phone or vice versa. Last time use ES File Explorer, found Airdroid more easy and simple. any idea ? don't know what to do at all @@ Anyway, if you insist to use ES then i recommend you use FTP instead of LAN Server (coz setting is a bit complicated) Here is what you should do. Go to ES setting > remote settings > Tick remote manage then type your FTP address into your browser address field to access your phone. |

I see quite many Note 2 here, but it only holds 2% of the market share worldwide?
Anyway, congrats Samsung makes 8 of the top 10 most used Android. Source: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_rounds_up_...e-news-5517.php And i see lots of hater comment there haha.... cheap plastic ugly phone... hmmm... i wonder is it because Samsung focus more in specs rather than design and use plastic to cut cost |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Feb 10 2013, 07:21 PM) Not airplane mode. Call and msg still can get thru. Only all those background data gathering process got blocked. Not only that, hope they will use similar setting called Smart Action (like tasker on Motorola), so no need buy Tasker Good idea..wish Samsung use that in their upcoming phones.
