tot31 yeah. I've flashed NEAK kernel on top previous Stock ROM, with your guidance, and the battery is good, and till I've ask guidance from nehalem176 on BBS, the battery is even better. Since we've got new Stock ROM, I wanna try RedPill this time. Unfortunately Perseus doesn't work well on my side. I just wanna check as I've used Mobile Odin only to flash .TAR files and never tried to flash .ZIP file before. Anyway, thank you so much.

regarding those fast dormancy wakelock, I have come to the conclusion the fast dormancy toggle by gm does not help.  those wakelock happen when you using data to sync or download or tethering when the screen is off.  only way to reduce it is to prevent or reduce app which wake the device up to use data.  example is using dsbs to schedule syncing every hourly or so on.

with that said of you are downloading our tethering with screen off do not expect to safe battery cos your device is obviously not sleeping during these activities.

My note 2 was dead all of a sudden. I sent to Samsung service center at 1U on wednesday morning for checking. The guy attended me tested and told me it's hardware problem. There were few cases like me according to him. So they need to change the parts and promised me to collect in 3 days time.

JUst now I give a call to the service center and a lady answered the phone. She told me it will take 1 week to repair bcos they need to order the parts from somewhere.

I'm actually quite disappointed with samsung's service. It was clearly their fault and mistake that the phone died and I've to make waiting for minimum 1 week to get the phone? I mean I dont work in Sabah and it is really inconvenient for me to collect the phone.

Has anyone face sudden death before? How long it take to repair???
