I read the first page and the ts says that if there is a hissing sound when charging the phone then can get a replacement set?? But i am confused now I did more research and some people say it is perfectly fine.. this is due to the fact that the charger is ssupplying huge amount of current into the phone.. the sound it makes is due to the flow of electrons across the wire.. did anyone experienced the same hissing sound??

I am on stock ROM, but I faced a bit of problem.. Everytime I unlock my phone, and then I on my WIFI, and then I immediately swipe as fast as I can on the home screen, it lags terribly, there are no running apps, there are no live wallpaper. This is the case even when I swipe slowly, but granted given a few more seconds, then it is smooth.. I will not say smooth as silk, but normally smooth. I am not throwing tantrums at Samsung Note 2, nor complaining, but I just can't believe that a Quad Core, with stock ROM, no live wallpaper, and etc, Just unlocking my phone gives me a complete heart wrenching moment. Can you imagine everytime that happened.. Is there any other solution besides flashing ROMs? I mean is rendering GPU a good idea? I heard that some apps will crash if rendered GPU?

I just visited a showroom for the note 2.. And I decided to fiddle with the Note 2. Yeah, the condition of the note 2 there are terrible, as many people had been fiddling with it.. The S Pen felt very soft, I guess it had been worn off already, but still smooth to write.. One thing that caught my attention is the feature called the Quick Glance.. I locked the phone, and I waved my hands across the proximity sensors.. I was shocked as it only took about no more than a second to wake up... I don't know why my note 2 cannot wake up that fast, even more so sometimes can't even respond.. I checked the firmware, its the latest 4.1.2.. But what did they do so that the quick glance feature really meant "QUICK" in every sense of the meaning instead of just a name?

I am currently encountering a problem which is the screen auto rotation problem.. At first it can work, when I turn it to auto rotation on.. The screen will turn to landscape when I rotate it.. But after sometime the auto rotation cannot work.. I have to restart my phone then only can work.. But after sometime, the whole process repeats itself.. I did some research and I found out that it is quite common among s3 users.. Some claim that it is a bug that affects the auto rotation.. I was wondering does anyone here is currently facing the same problem? And are there any solution to this?? Thanks..

sifus, would like to ask something.. should i get galaxy note II right away or wait for price reduce after the unveiling of galaxy note 8.0 in the coming Mobile World Congress?
Will the price of note II reduce? else, might get it now itself..
Thanks.
It's totally your choice.. If you can wait, you should buy the S4 or the Note 3.. Or else, note 2 would be the ideal choice for a smartphone..

My average time taken for charging from 0 to 100 percent is about 3 hours.. Is this normal or abnormal.. since doing some maths 3100 mah which js 3.1Ah. Since charge equals current times time.. total time required equals 3.1 divide by the total currnt output of the charger which is 2A equals 1.55 hours.. mind took double the time required for perfect or an ideal battery. Is this a bad sign of battery aging??

I did some researching on xda developers, but I still faced a problem. The problem is that I deactivate the quick glance feature, but when I locked my note 2, the proximity sensor which emits red light in the visible spectrum still lingers. I can't seem to turn it off. I tried to reboot my phone and it worked, unfortunately the problem persist again and it came back on. It seems that it is a bug related issue. But I would like to know that does this issue affects anyone? And if it does, is it by default that the proximity sensor is turned on always even though the screen is switched off? Thanks.

I can remember when I first connect a external keyboard using the OTG cable on to my Samsung Galaxy S2, it could not power up the external keyboard hence rendering it disfunctional. But I tried the same thing a few minutes ago, and to my dismay when I connect my external keyboard to my Note 2 using the OTG cable, it works like a charm. I guess the Note 2 is able to output sufficient amount of power to power up the external keyboard. By the way I am now typing using the external keyboard on my note 2. Nowsending messages which includes composing sms would be so easy, fast and efficient now... KUDOS to samsung because now the external keyboard could work now..

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought you could change the counter to zero, zilch.. but Samsung still knows since they have an even secret counter in the Note 2.. Right?
Can't be, either fakes as the SME price now is only RM2100.. I bought before chinese new year also RM2200.. Can't be that the price plummeted so steeply..
