QUOTE(Positron @ Feb 20 2013, 08:20 AM)
I just bought Asphalt 7 on gameloft website and I found out that it is lagging on note 2..
So I found out that this game is not optimised for note 2..
But on iphone 5 it is optimised.. some say that if a game is not optimised for a phone then even with 20 cores it will be no use..
Like i phone 5 people claimed that the game runs smoothly..
Did anyone face the same problem.. which is laggy??
Not throwing laments and tantrums just curious if anyone also face the same problem..
Thanks..

Did u turn on the power saving mode? The mode limit ur phone cpu speed... uncheck CPU Power Saving option.

HTC One got no external SD support. This is a big no no for some people that have lots of media.

I see... but 32GB is enough for many ppl haha biggrin.gif

against my better judgement of ignoring certain posts... i'll still go ahead this time and hope i dun regret it.

i've purchased this game from Google Play a few months back. installed it recently on Note 2. it runs fine on my phone. i dunno what you mean by lag. it is as smooth as i expect from a racing car. the screen dun pause or anything.

so maybe its either phone... or user. serious.

since we're on this topic... the only problem i seem to have with this game is that sometimes when i turn left... the car goes right instead... wonder if my phone's sensor has gone weird on me. but i've noticed my 3yo son being able to turn the car properly... maybe i'm not controlling it correctly... :S
*
Haha your son must be racer... or maybe u r bad in racing lol laugh.gif

Full HD display definitely a plus point... But 1 thing for sure is I wont upgrade to Note 3 jz bcoz of tat HD thingy or curved display as well...

S4 has awesome spec but i haven't seen or heard any "wow" factor yet...
*
yea … wow factor depends individual I guess….
A phone equipped with 8 cores and 2ghz processor speed does not give me wow… it is just like enhance version of Note 2 LOL… what Im expecting samsung is to come out something that other phones don’t have LOL… something unique and useful like the function of the S-Pen for phablet, smart stay, smart rotation, palm swipe... etc. Outlook wise, plastic or not, ugly or not.. not so important to me haha as long as the specs are WOW.. .and durable to use ok already

but they need to allow their warranty to be intact even if users root their devices in order to be our darling.  biggrin.gif   The Experia Z looks kinda refreshing with water-proof capability.   Might move from Samsung to try some other brand if i got the temptation to change phone later this year.  But definitely not HTC as it is still in my blacklist.  whistling.gif

haha... water resistant limit, just up to 1m ... cannot bring to snorkeling take photo... but it is good to take photo under the rain, and when accidentally fell in the toilet bowl laugh.gif

Anyway, some good news for SwiftKey purchaser...
SwiftKey 4 with Flow hits the Google Play Store
Seriously amazing...

it is indeed amazing keyboard, but the only problem to me is, since 2011 they mentioned to develop Chinese input, until now no news from them. Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, Malay also got, but no Chinese... sigh... yawn.gif
