Blue Orb II is quite heavy and large size that could restrict compatibility with some motherboards... its performance quite good and silents. by the way, if you want to choose this one, better you check its compitibility with your mobo.

They'll both work well with whatever silent fans you put on for a silent setup
And even better with a powerful fan

So its up to you what kinda setup you're looking for

hey guys, was wondering if you guys could recommend some coolers for AMD x2, using stock cooler atm. Idle temps are around 41c; full load at 54c (non-aircond room) - applied as5.

dilemme between big typhoon/ninja, please recommend ty notworthy.gif

edit : 2.5ghz @ stock voltage but idle temps are around 41c, is that normal? tried googling but the answers found are vague sad.gif

I recommend you to get Scythe Ninja due to its performance and ease of installation compared to XP-120. Trust me you wouldn't want to know how much hassle it is to install XP-120, besides that the XP-120 might block your ram slots and making it difficult to remove your ram modules. smile.gif
