hey guys, was wondering if you guys could recommend some coolers for AMD x2, using stock cooler atm. Idle temps are around 41c; full load at 54c (non-aircond room) - applied as5.

dilemme between big typhoon/ninja, please recommend ty

edit : 2.5ghz @ stock voltage but idle temps are around 41c, is that normal? tried googling but the answers found are vague

I test my friend typhoon..and it quite par with XP120 actually. But it noisy.
Performence....below XP120...but NOISY.

i using TT typhoon b4, great also ,but is too big...case must be more space..

after i using Tuniq 120 Tower...
that is best...and no more noise

the Tuniq 120 Tower still at my hand now..

I recommend you to get Scythe Ninja due to its performance and ease of installation compared to XP-120. Trust me you wouldn't want to know how much hassle it is to install XP-120, besides that the XP-120 might block your ram slots and making it difficult to remove your ram modules.

i only use tt big typhoon and nvr try the rest b4.. with 1.66 vcore my full load temp is 43-45C and idle around 25-28C.. not bad for me..

with 1.86 vcore full load 52C

1.86 v for vcore ..i think at that voltage..it might kill ur proc..

now running at 1.66vcore only, it's still killing my proc hahaha

I felt the Ninja was more of a hassle though
Kept bending the fins everytime i reached down there

Was that with an air-cond on or off?

db somewhere 50+ aka friggin loud!

i think high voltage kill ur proc faster than high temp

with air-con on and off also around the same temperature.. around 1 or 2C different only

LoL, so you're idling lower than the ambient temp?
Must be kewl having a proc that sucks heat instead of emitting it

that is my last using with Tuniq Tower....

idle 35,Full Load 43with A64 3500+ SH7 @2.75GHz 1.45v

juz now using WC oledi....
