Any one have experience on this? What does a GM do? what is the salary for GM, average can go above 2k or not?

I suppose it is some kind of a Game Moderator? just like LYN mods?

i don't knoe any gm...

but during my time with ragnarok online.. hehe...
when chating with the players there.. they said they are paid.... but donno how much...

i just wanto knoe where to aply for this job.. haha.. freee time can use lar..

I dont think it's the same, gm is more on manage game server i think.

I actually have a friend who used to be a game master, basically all you have to do all day is to stay logged into the game and liaise with the users. I remember he even managed the game's inventory items, basically he spends his life playing games. Salary i believe he earns around rm1400.

Play game and get paid. And get to ban/kick ppl. Doesnt sound like a bad job.... Anyone knows wat is the requirement for this job?

GMs don't get paid much methinks but to get paid playing games... that's really nice isn't it. Good luck!

GM pay is about RM1.2k in kedekut company like Terra. If you are lucky, maybe close to 2k on other company. But not more. Unless you are also involve in creating events, and improving the games.

Job scope:
- Trace logs (weeks of transaction log if you are unlucky) if customer complain something wrong (missing weapon, gold lost, etc). Might need to work OT.
- Work even in Sunday & Saturday & public holidays if there are events.
- Play games and maintain order, and f*** off cheaters and botters.

You are dismissed if found to be:
- creating epic/elite item for users and self-engage external transactions.
- there might be lawyer cases, since it involve fraud (game points/items are money exchangeable).

You don't:
- manage game servers. It is server operations guys jobs.
- talk to gamers directly via phone when gamers complain. That is for customer support. Only in extreme cases you talk to gamers.
