Lol-Ed at this scoreline after seeing the match fact... Full control of the possession yet can't score shit... We miss Sturridge Suarez partnership today...

Soft penalty given I would say... Steve Clark a genius to put in lukaku in the final stage of the match...

Seems like major overhaul ahead...

if there's any department need overhaul, it would be our central defenders, times and times skrtel and agger show they're vulnerable dealing either with pacey or physically strong with aerial threat opponents... I miss those days having hyypia, henchoz and young carra when I dont have to worry much when defending against a freekick or corner, now we are like prone to concede goals each and every match... maybe william will be a key signing to toughen up our defense...

Former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso believes patience will be the key if the Reds are to progress under Brendan Rodgers.
Alonso, who swapped Merseyside for Madrid in August 2009, made 210 appearances for the club and scooped Champions League and FA Cup winners' medals during his stay.

He explained to BBC Sport how he still feels close to Liverpool and that he monitors the team's progress from afar.

"With Brendan, Liverpool are building a project," said Alonso.

"They need to be patient. We all want to see Liverpool fighting for the Champions League places.

"I still follow the Premier League and I still feel very attached to Liverpool and I follow them. I consider myself a Liverpool fan."

FSG/BR, bring him back to liverpool... I believe he still have unfinished business at anfield, with him and lucas as holding midfield, we will have more balance in attack and defend, unlike now with allen pairing lucas, we just lack of the creative killer pass to support suarez and sturridge at front...
