I realised that no one is able to catch Apeman Bale. He was like a speed demon and they had to wait for him further up and collide with him to steal the back instead of racing side by side with him.

The linesman, or the assistant referee as they are now called, should not have released Bale at that time when the ball was being played in our half. These days with the technology they have, the assistant should have told the ref that Bale cannot be allowed onto the field yet.

Nevertheless I agree that the greater responsibility lies with the referee because he calls the shots.
