I am not worried or afraid of the surrounding because i grew up nearby there...schooled there at yuk chuan chinese skool.

to be honest, I have many relatives and friends stay there (tmn sentosa, the real low cost housing) for the past 30-40 years and they are all fine. None of them turn to drug addicts, triad taikos or bad hats. Yes, they might not be respectable and succeesful datok and datin but they are fine.

if you have been brought up in better neigbourhood such as TTDI, Damansara or SS sections of PJ, yes the world here is slightly more daunting....but trust me, you wont wake up to count the body bags every morning

just for disccusion....no hard feeling.

I always believe good value of children is instilled in the house...and your children will be able to face the world.
by providing a sterilised environment for your children only reduced their street smart ability.

of course if you can afford better place, you will go for the other place....but many people are lack of choices, or convienence choices.

We grew up there...and we still in one piece. Although none of my siblings remain there. we are just landed people..still cant get use to live in condos.
