my current setup for gear shifting is button shift at first button from top, left and right buttons (much quicker than paddle shift). icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

from my experience playing gear shifting, paddle shifting is not as efficient as red button on steering shift but better than stick gear especially during cornering. some time it tend not to shift if u shift it gently. from there already got lost time for acceleration/deceleration.

the stick gear also not efficient as paddle shift and red button on steering shift. this method is giving more loss time compare those 2. your hand have to travel from steering to gear stick frequently. even if u have hand of god too, ur hand especially on the steering will feel stress a lot if playing for a long time.

the best is the top left and right red buttons for upshifting/downshifting. u can see even ferarri F1 team using this kind of shifting. just my opinion.
dont shoot me!!! \( > _ < )/

mmm..... use gas and brake on the button is good for traction controlled car and dry track only.
if wet track or traction control off, ur car tend to spin during cornering even on straight line (wet track case). doh.gif

if using the gas and brake pedal provided by logitech...... <--- poyo word la wei doh.gif
u can regulate the power transfered to the wheel during acceleration or braking. even u sometime can fast drift like alonso just by regulating the accel pedal. B)

Another thing.

TC off or low..does not work for me
Spin...

i think it is because u used button rather than pedal for accel and braking.

my method is downshift only during braking. let the car brake first until the shifting band which is 3000-5000rpm.
if not, car will spin off. dont downshift during acceleration.
it works!!!
