Oh ya... i have 1 idea here..

Example, let's say we race time about 15laps, so surely there will some ppl out of the race, DNF. so u hav to be in the pits watching other ppl race.

By that time, can the person in the pits become the race control director? like when he saw car A hits car B, so definetly is car A fault, so he may ask him to hav a "Drive tru Penalty"..

Example 2: like someone cut track  then also having some penalty stop.. 

Pretty much like a real F1 situation
How izzit? rather than the DNF person feels bore waiting others to finish, and much more fair to all racer too!

i agree with linkin, sometimes accidents are unavoidable because of lag. That's why i suggested that some sort of steward panel. For example we got 8 people in the league. Y got hit by K and Y lodge a complaint. the other 6 will convene what action should be taken if any.

so far here's the outline of our league...

1. Driver championship. Points based on current FIA rules.
2. Race length - undecided yet. I suggest 30 mins. So each track will have different number of laps to race.
3. Qualifying - undecided yet.
4. Invulnerability - off
5. Fuel usage - x2
6. Race day - speedom suggest every Friday.

The host can edit the position grid maa.. then just put the user which pos he want lo..

I agree to use x4 for fuel usage.. more exciting
About the rules thing, if somebody complain about which driver hit him, then we'll see the replay 'after the race', then on the next race, can giv the racer some punishment or mayb a drive tru penalty on the next race.

For the time of league, can it makes earlier to 8.30pm? Start practice?
Only Practice 1, after finish practice 1, we'll go for Quali, then race..

After using hamachi, no lagging problem. Lagging only happen if new racer log in to the games.

and we will be using what point system? Old version? Up to 6th place only? Or the newer one...up to 8th place...

but guys, if start race late then after race is more late ehh..
u know laa.. Fri is last day of the week work ma, so is the most tired day.

Hope so can b at 8.30 or 9pm start practice, after practice is already 10pm ma (1 hour later), then need Quali (around 30mins), Race will start around 10.30pm liao wohh... tis timing already late leh ... still want more late than tis ka?? 

well, the main concern is young_soul and Raikkonen. young_soul cant race before 8.30 pm and Raikkonen can only join after 9.30 pm.

woe, how about 30 mins of practice and 30 mins of qualifying? can it be done? i never have any experience hosting a game, so you guys have to fill me in.

IMHO, i suggest Fri.
We can start practice on 9.30pm - 10.30pm, then make sure every1 join the game within that time.
At 10.30pm, we start qualification.
11.00pm start race.

thus to be fair to everyone, the amount of fuel should be standardized...meaning everyone qualify on the same amount of fuel...
