QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Aug 7 2006, 02:51 PM)
I did 1:13:759.
But cut the chicane in turn 7  tongue.gif
That's why we need the telemetry to clarify it.
Seems impossible to do below 1:15:xxx
Actually you can turn OFF the chat message.
I did.
Just the sound of the chat but no text on top of the screen.
*
Impossible? I think my first lap was below 1.15.000 tongue.gif that 1.14.110 was my 2nd lap laugh.gif

I know turn 7...that chicane actually a little tricky. You'll get a faster time if you don't hit the left chicane, but dun go until cutting the whole chicane la sweat.gif

anyway I didn't know how to turn off the chat message, so kena the message thing the whole race doh.gif

oh ya...one thing...when I was overtaking adrian...not easy. Its not that he was aggressive and all, but his car was completely lagging. Up/down...left/right...I couldn't determine where he was. First he was on the left...suddenly he was already in front of me...as though he teleported shocking.gif Only managed to somehow outbrake him and overtake...otherwise its wait till he makes a mistake whistling.gif

Basically the lagging can cause a lot of accidents wink.gif I might have even hit adrian without knowing it laugh.gif

if we're really gonna use "solution 2"....I suggest we take one weekend and test that method just to remove any confusion which might take place when the league race starts.

if the league gets any bigger, it would take a great deal to manage it...and its kinda tough to find people to sposor when there are lots of other internet races which do not have sponsoring.

I'd say we start off RH2004 with the "solution 2" first and try to get sponsoring for the rest of the season or for the 2005 season

So when we will start the league? After we get the server? Or use solution 2? Can fix a date and let us know the final solution?
IMHO, there is no purpose we just keep discuss bout the solution. smile.gif

I think the idea of this weekend's race is to try out that "solution 2". Means no matter how many people is coming...we'll divide into 2 groups. Isn't it Hahn? Hmm, all of a sudden haHn sounds much better... tongue.gif

QUOTE(Penzman @ Aug 9 2006, 03:00 PM)
Count me in for tomorrow's practice and friday race.
Reminder. A dedicated server will not only cost you so much for every race, it would be there permanently for practice 24 hours a day/7 days a week with no interruption from outsiders if we need the track to ourselves.
I also opt for now that we split and test even if that's not my prefered race option. sad.gif
*
bro, I also prefer if we all just race together but if it means paying quite a sum, then I'm not in favor...
