ok guys i have been plannign this mod for a couple of months aledi and i have aledi started abit of it.. onli the easy parts!.

ok here is my current rig..
Specs-
AMD 64 3000+ (at 2.63/vcore is 1.65)
Abit AX8 V2.0
Winfast Geforce 6600td ( currently at the shop for warenty..rosak from ocing)
80Gb WD hdd
a dell oem cd drive
4kus dvd writer
cm 450wt realpower
512mb Geil ram

Casing is an icute one (cheaopo ) but it is the one that has the turbine looking thingi at the front 1. its a mid tower. got dual uv sticks from oc paradise, a pannaflo 12 cm intae, nmb exhaust fan a icute blue led fan for the topblowhole. i use a tt beetle for cpu and a artic cooling silencer 6 for my gpu.

ok there will be five stages to this work log all to different sections to the pc or different usess.

i dun hav a before pic as i forgot to take but i have stage 1 pics that ill post later in the worklog

the case was painted black some time back so no hav pics....
Stage 1
this is To mod the uv and the blowhole at the top.
first up was the blow hole... not many pics though...


cut with this grinder.....
not much pics here again sorie but after bout two hours of grinding and lots of dust later.. the end result is this...



then since i wuz aledi usin the grinder i thought of cutting the grill off the ront intake gan and also the back... sorie no pics but now more air is flowing beter....

sorie again not much pics for stage 1 becasue no one to take pics for me but i promse that got more pics in later stages...
next up was the uv mod...
the uv sticks cost about 45 bucks from ocp.

the spider glow in the dark thingi is bout 4 years old and can onli sustain a glow for bout 3 mins... found it below my bros bed.... any way it look s nice thogugh... thats it for stage 1 .

That's not a cheapo casing la bro

it is man.. onli 230 rm and shit quality but not bad design... the front cover clip aledi broken after two weeks the case is not perfectly done the psu need to bend the case a litle to mount and the side panels are not fiting properly .. they bend outwards a bit .the holed on the mobo tray is very smallbut it will all be fixed after this mod is complete....

i didnt do much to day just went to order acrilic and its raining like hell ... stage two to commence this weekend .. now till friday ill jus plan the designs and buy the necessary stuff. wait for the uptade.. thx for the comments.

need to bend to fit a psu....gotta be I-Cute....right? anyway, good mod there, the cable management is not bad, can still improve, but good anyways. BTW, how old are you?

yup its i cute alright.... got no qc ah? ... any way wait till you see stage two man... cables that are visible now are almost invivsible or at least i hope... welll today i went to the acrilic shop to ask them to cut my top panel window for me.... here is the bluprint..\

btw, why the colour of your side panel and front panel are so weird ??
it looks greyish......Is it because of the flash light ??

u should have saved few extra bucks and get the new Aerocool casing from All-IT its abour RM300 plus & the built quality is very good. The whole casing is very solid and heavy you can actually stand on it without breaking or bending anything. Will post pic up later

i know there is little commentary or info on the mod but its my first worklog so i need timne to know what to write .. any comments will be great.....

No its becasue i painted the top panel and the insides black so it looks like the colour is off... but the case colour was originaly like dat... icute paint sucks..... neway it will be painted once i cut everythign properly. well maybe its an isolated incident that this case came out bad... it was like this the day i bought it.



thx for the addvise.. maybe ill get that to mod next.... is it the aerocool jetmaster 2? i bought my casing only three days before it came to kl... such bad luck.. if i new it was comin i would have boght that 1..

ok guys update.... i jsut cut the top panel and going to jln pasar to get some ehatsrnk to sleeve the psu... i cant get thepics untill tomorow so must wait abit ok.... my camera no bat... for those following this mod thx for the comeents.

hey guys sorie that there has been no up dates.. here are the latest after two days of sleep deprivation i finaly finished the mod... i know there isnt much info on the stages but i decided not to follow the stages. so here are the pictures..

here i drew the size for my top panelwindow.....



the using the grinder i cut it and the the piece that came out will be used to bild something later as the fan hole is a 12omm and can be bended ... may be a top readiator mount for future....


then i cut a hole for the mobo at the back for added ventilation and wire management..



here is the acrilic that was professionaly cut for me.... paid 15 bucks cheap right!!!!!!!!!

my computer now ... no nice case but temperatures is dam good ... managed an oc from 1.8 to 2.6 ..... temp at load onli 48....
