as from my view, get lens first...as FX lens still can use in DX body, and normally lens dont depreciate as fast as body... so, my concept was like invest in lens better than body, but do invest on body if you find it limits you.

Also, if you have FX body without FX lens, DX lens get vignetted on FX body unless you zoom it till certain zoom range...

thats what i thinking, because i tahan now with D7000 and kitlens, saving for FX lens..lolx...

Dear all sifu, need some advise here....

View back some recent shots with my 50 f1.4D, I found something that scare me… >.<

I realize when I shoot nearer to the subject, the outcome is sharp and nice (refer first photo)
But when I shoot more far from the subject, the outcome is soft, creamy and really cannot for me…it looks like out of focus. (refer 2nd and 3rd)
I am suspecting focus issue on my body but with another kit lens, the outcome is good and acceptable (maybe aperture fix at 3.5 max. don’t give big difference?)
Any sifu here have experience this before might give some advise? Or it is normal??
If there is focus problem on the lens, how much estimate cost me if need to send to service centre?

I think thats normal. try stop down to f2 or f4 when further away. Im amazed that your shooting wide open at bright daylight.  at least your copy does not have bad purple fringing like mine smile.gif
