Wah, your trip looks fun  wub.gif
I guess its very challenging to take a shot of Sakura flowers that stand out since there are so many of them in the background  shocking.gif
Personally I think #6 could be better if you had the time to wait until there's only one boat  thumbup.gif

a few challenging situation - flowers are mostly above eye levels, cloudy weather (i snap on 3 separate days, one cloudy, one raining, and 3rd one sunny but didn't go to any of the garden, only snapped some along the road), and like you mentioned, background and subject are same thing. biggrin.gif

don't really care about being able to snap the flowers or not, cause seeing in person is 100x more stunning. brows.gif

Anyone mind helping?

Abit disappointed...

set shutter speed to 1/100, or 1/50 and below. this works with the 50hz PAL frequency of malaysia. same goes to video mode, if put 1/60 sure see flickering, and i think anything 1/50 or slower will not see the problem, or multiply of 50 e.g. 1/100.

or use your camera phone, put into video mode, and point right at the fluorescence light tube, you'll see flickering...

this is a famed ramen, not the best in japan, yet much better than santouka and menyamusashi in malaysia!
