I didn't get mirai suenaga despite being a follower of Danny choo's blog. Only bought anime characters I like.
I should get a tripod if I were to continue shooting my figures lol, anyways, all these below taken with D3100, Still a beginner. most are taken on my work desk.

silverfire avanpiper need ideas for nendoroid photo session ah?
*
Any tips/ideas are welcome! Senpai! notworthy.gif

I saw some of your setups at flickr, and well, I don't have a proper space for photo sessions like that. Not to mention, I don't have a tripod, no flash and basically, I'm working with just the kit lense. Which is why I'm looking for suitable portrait lens.

dear sifus,

any recommendations for tripods, multipurpose use, basically indoors and traveling?
budget RM300-400 maybe?

first time buying so I'm not looking for those really pro types.

What do you think of Benro?

You can check out Jusino..  I am using the AX-254... quite happy with it.. it packs up really small.. good for travelling smile.gif the downside that is a twist release type and not the clip type to extent the legs.

I believe shashinki is the is their distributor here ;-) another cool part... on of the tripod legs can be converted to a monopod  laugh.gif

here is how it looks like

using Beike Pro 471
so far so good...the only complain is it not able to support the total weight when i mount tamron 70-300 with either D600 or D7000. i try to tighten the plate very tight already, but then can see it slowly getting down when zoom to 300mm.

will changing the ballhead help? or just changing the plate with bigger contact area with the camera?

thank you all for the recommendations, well within my budget. Will consider them! biggrin.gif
